Seven teenagers are being hunted. Drefids, dark assassins from another world, will stop at nothing to finish the job they began long ago. Standing in their way are Elven Sentinels, powerful and secretive warriors, sworn to protect the teens and the hidden powers they possess. The Sentinels must search every corner of the Earth and bring the seven teens back to their real home to join a rebellion 800 years in the making. Swords will ring, worlds will collide, loyalties will be tested. And even tiny spiders watching with their eight-eyed gaze from shadowy corners could spell disaster for two worlds. Heed the Prophecies of Berinfell, and beware the Spider King.
An Introduction to Curse of the Spider King...for those who've not yet read.

The author will write what the author thinks suits the book, if the book is best if it's short, leave it short, if the author has more stuff to put in it, he'll put it in it. Mr. Batson and Mr. Hopper will do what the see fit.

I never said that there was anything wrong with the size, I was just saying I was a bit disapointed. Is there anything wrong with that? I have been known to buy a book for the simple reason that it was the fattest book on the shelf.

lol... Get the most value out of your buck. A little off topic but how do I change my avatar?

actually, I think the publisher has a lot to do with the size of a book.
but I agree with Barie-ah Hue(etc) that's actually how I got started on The Door Within (that, and the covers)Posted 1 year ago # -
Chris: Thanks for agreeing with me. It seems that most people do not quite agree with my opinions.
The name is Barie-ah Hue-en-la. Why do I have to have such a weird name? If you say Barie, everyone should still know who you are talking about.

A lot of people ask me if I'm afraid of spiders. Are you kidding? A 6 foot 3, 250 pound lumbering pirate like me...afraid of spiders? Actually...ahem…I'm kind of terrified of them. I mean the way they move...skittering along. And then…all those eyes...ewwwww.

I agree, I don't mind them in the open, but when I'm about to go to bed and one starts crawling along my wall...

Really? I have a really big one hanging out here, I got it in Arizona. It is about five inches across . . .

What's the deal with the sticky threads???
Posted 1 year ago # -

Those sticky things are really bothering me.

Sticky threads are those that stay at the top of the forum all the time--hence, they "stick." ;-) Also, please note that Christopher and I are stoked about all the creative energy you all have unleashed here. So many stories, so many ideas--and you all seem to be feeding off each other's enthusiasm. That's righteous. To that end, we've added a "Writer's Fellowship" section. Please post all NEW writing threads there. Enjoy!

Thanks WTB. We've got a pretty awesome prequel going on for TDW.
Also, you guys going to be participating any more soon? lol

Yeah, it's not official because we don't want to go against you, but it's pretty cool. And thanks for the Writer's Fellowship section and all the other new stuff it's awesome.
Edit: And yeah, I like all this writer's stuff, it's cool to have other aspiring authors helping each other out and encouraging each other.
